Do Not Follow a Different Gospel

"Even if we or an angel from heaven preach a different gospel, let him be accursed!" (Galatians 1:8)

Why do so many who fill the pews remain unchanged—living no differently than the world, unmoved by sin?

The reason is not mere weakness of will. It is because another gospel has crept into the pulpit.

The pure Word of God has been blurred, diluted, and poisoned.

The Poison in the Pulpit

Paul thundered: "Even if we or an angel from heaven preach a different gospel, let him be accursed!"

That warning is not history—it is God's trumpet blast to the church today.

Two poisons have infiltrated modern Christianity, and both are deadly.

First Poison: Liberal Theology

Liberal theology dares to weigh Scripture on the fragile scale of human reason.

The Bible is reduced to myth; hell and judgment are dismissed as legend; the virgin birth and resurrection as "symbols." Sin is no longer rebellion against God but redefined as "social imbalance" or "psychological hurt."

This poison now clothes itself as "human rights," blessing same-sex marriage and tearing down God's standard of holiness.

Repentance is treated as a polite option rather than the desperate cry of a sinner at the brink of hell.

If miracles are dismissed as "scientifically impossible," or sin reduced to sociology, the venom of liberal theology has already seeped in.

And it will close heaven's gate.

Second Poison: Prosperity Theology

If liberal theology empties the gospel of sin, prosperity theology enthrones human desire in place of God.

Its message is sweet: "God wants you wealthy and successful." But it is a deadly lie.

Scripture warns: "Those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare… and are drowned in destruction" (1 Timothy 6:9).

Yet some pulpits teach "seed-faith": give an offering, and God will give you a car, a house, success.

When promises fail, blame is shifted cruelly: "Your faith was too weak."

Prayer becomes a spell, devotion an investment, the cross reduced to a charm for prosperity.

Under this gospel, repentance is not contrition before a holy God. It is a shallow ritual to "unlock blessing."

If your pulpit says, "Above all, God wants you happy," beware—the venom of prosperity theology is already in your soul.

The Deadly Effect

Both poisons kill.

Liberal theology says, "Sin is no disease." Prosperity theology says, "Sin is only an obstacle to your success."

Neither leads to repentance, and without repentance there is no salvation.

One young man, deceived by prosperity teaching, gave away all he had, expecting wealth in return. Instead, he drowned in debt.

His church did not comfort him—they condemned him: "Your faith was weak." Brokenhearted, he abandoned God.

That is the fruit of the "other gospel."

The Only Antidote

Beloved, the serpent's eggs are hatching in the church. If we ignore them, the ark of life will become a stage leading souls to hell.

But it is not too late. There is an antidote.

Return to the Word. Return to the cross.

Repentance is the cure. The blood of Christ alone breaks the power of poison.

Those who weep in repentance will live. Those who keep sipping the sweet venom will surely die.

So now—open your ears. Do not seek comfort. Hear the truth.
