Stand Before the Signs of the Times

"There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences" (Luke 21:11)

The universe flows silently toward the sovereign purposes of God. Seasons change, stars move in their orbits, and time sweeps humanity along like a current.

We pretend to know everything, yet we cannot see tomorrow. We depend on daily bread and vanish like mayflies before eternity.

Lost in noise and busyness, we fail to notice the mighty hand that rules all things.

The question is urgent: Are you asleep—or awake?

Nature Groans: Signs in Creation

Jesus warned clearly:

"There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences" (Luke 21:11)

These have always existed, but in the last days they multiply—frequent, severe, unbearable.

Earthquakes shake even nations once thought secure. Millions still go hungry despite "an age of abundance." And pestilence—seen in COVID-19—laid bare the cracks in human pride.

Borders closed, economies collapsed, and proud nations trembled. Worse, hatred multiplied. Old prejudices revived, violence erupted in the streets.

Even in calamity, humanity devours itself. This is the sign our Lord foretold.

Disasters Beyond Human Control

Tsunamis, wildfires, climate collapse—our generation witnesses them not as rare tragedies but as daily news.

The ozone shield is torn, the ice melts, forests burn like never before. The very earth is groaning, crying out under human sin.

These are not random accidents. They are trumpet blasts, divine warnings that time is short.

Cracks in Human Society

Jesus said:

"Nation will rise against nation" (Matthew 24:7)

History confirms it: the 20th century shed more blood than all centuries before it. Borders and ethnic identities have multiplied conflict, not peace.

Worse still, love has grown cold (Matthew 24:12). Families fracture, trust collapses, sexual morality crumbles. What was once shame is now celebrated.

To speak God's truth is branded "hate." But God's Word does not change. These are not cultural shifts—they are blazing signs of the end.

The Invisible War

The fiercest battle is not in nature or politics but in the soul.

False prophets rise, offering a gospel of comfort without repentance—Canaan without wilderness, glory without the cross. It soothes for a moment but poisons the soul.

Yet amid darkness, the brightest sign shines:

"This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world… and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14)

From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the gospel marches on. This is the final page of history being written before our eyes.

The Testing of Worship

Why does God permit disasters? To shake arrogance, to separate wheat from chaff, to awaken the sleeping.

The early church worshiped in catacombs under threat of death. But in our day, many abandoned worship at the slightest trial—content to "watch" sermons in pajamas, mistaking convenience for devotion.

Worship is not consumption; it is sacrifice. It is not watching a screen; it is presenting our lives before the Lord.

Awake, for the Lord Is Near

One day—perhaps today—the trumpet will sound, the sky will split, and Christ will return.

For some, it will be terror. They will beg mountains to fall on them, but there will be no escape.

For others—the poor in spirit, the obedient, the holy—it will be joy unspeakable, as angels gather them to meet the Lord in the air.

The Word speaks plainly:

"Cleanse your hands, you sinners. Purify your hearts. Lament, weep, mourn… Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up" (James 4:8–10)

Now is the time to awaken.
